Registered Nurse

This is an 8-week assignment. Candidates must confirm they are aware and comfortable proceeding with their submission. First-time travelers are accepted. Local candidates are not accepted. Floating is required. The patient ratio is 4 on nights. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Guaranteed hours are a minimum of 36 to 48 hours per week depending on the shift combination. The facility is a short-term acute care environment. The average daily census is 28 patients. The nursing unit cares for adults and geriatric patients. Patient populations include various cardiac, respiratory, neuro, mental health, and GI/GU conditions. Special procedures include cardioversions and 12-lead EKG interpretation. Candidates must have skills in the management of various modalities and treatments. This role requires proficiency in telemetry monitoring and medication management. Additional interdisciplinary support is available through various hospital services. All travelers are required to float within the hospital or nearby affiliate hospitals. A minimum of 18 months of experience is required. Candidates must have two supervisor references.
