Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Applications Analyst 2 to provide application support, systems analysis, testing, troubleshooting, reporting, SQL development, business analysis, and end-user support for enterprise applications.

The successful candidate will work closely with business users, process owners, technical teams, departments, and consultants to support application operations, enhancements, upgrades, and implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary application support for enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide user support.
• Develop and execute application test plans and test cases.
• Perform application testing and troubleshoot defects.
• Support system enhancements, upgrades, and conversions.
• Perform business analysis activities for enterprise applications.
• Provide input into work plans and project deliverables.
• Track project deliverables and provide status reporting.
• Conduct meetings with users and stakeholders.
• Gather and document application requirements and specifications.
• Create and modify reports and forms using Crystal Reports .
• Write SQL queries to extract and update data.
• Perform data extracts based on user requirements.
• Use SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) for database queries.
• Analyze and work with SQL-based data.
• Coordinate with users, technical teams, departments, process owners, and consultants.
• Coordinate and conduct end-user training.
• Prepare and maintain training materials and documentation.
• Support implementation training activities.
• Use Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and communication.

Required Skills

• 46 years of SQL experience , including writing SQL scripts using SSMS.
• 46 years of Crystal Reports experience.
• 46 years of Microsoft Office experience.
• 46 years of verbal and written communication skills.
• 46 years of learning/adaptability skills.
• 46 years of teamwork/collaboration experience.
• 13 years of software troubleshooting experience.
• Experience writing SQL queries to extract and update database information.
• Experience using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) .
• Experience supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving application issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cityworks configuration and support .
• Experience with Crystal Reports .
• Experience working with Land Management data .
• Experience as a Systems Analyst or Applications Analyst.
• Experience supporting application enhancements, upgrades, and conversions.
• Experience developing application requirements and specifications.
• Experience creating test plans and test cases.
• Experience conducting application testing.
• Experience coordinating and conducting end-user training.
• Experience developing and updating training materials.
• Experience supporting implementation and training rollouts.
• Experience working with enterprise-level applications.
• Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills.

Ideal Candidate

Looking for a Systems/Application Analyst with strong hands-on experience in SQL, SSMS, Crystal Reports, application troubleshooting, and end-user support . Candidates with Cityworks configuration/support experience should be prioritized for this requirement.
