What You'll Do

As a 3rd–5th Grade Teacher, you will help students deepen their reading, writing, and mathematical thinking while preparing them for future academic success. These are the years when students develop independence, tackle increasingly complex content, and begin to discover what they are capable of achieving. Responsibilities include: delivering engaging, standards-aligned instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, and other assigned content areas; creating a structured classroom environment where students are challenged to think critically, persevere through difficulty, and take ownership of their learning; using student data to identify strengths, address gaps, and adjust instruction; building strong relationships with students and families; collaborating with colleagues to improve outcomes for students; participating actively in coaching, planning, and professional development; and contributing positively to the culture and mission of the school.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; ability to pass a criminal background check; eligibility to work in the United States.

Preferred

Texas teaching certification; previous classroom teaching experience; experience working with children through tutoring, coaching, mentoring, childcare, camps, after-school programs, or similar settings; knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and student assessment. Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $55,000–$65,000; Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS); medical, dental, and vision insurance; employer-paid life insurance; optional supplemental insurance benefits; Employee Assistance Program (EAP); optional 403(b) retirement savings plan; weekly coaching and professional development; certification support for eligible employees; opportunities for leadership and career growth.
