Department: Inpatient Nursing Unit 1

Specialty: Psychiatry

Number of Openings: 1

Shift: 6:45 PM 7:15 AM

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed

Call Requirements: N/A

Required Certifications:

BLS
HWC
MANDT
TOVA - Certified De-escalation/Physical Hold Training

Experience Requirements:

Years of Experience: 2+

Float Requirements: Serves all three units; child, adult, geriatric

Unit Information:

Number of Beds: 72

Patient Ratios: 1:10

Equipment:

Vitals machine
EKG
Bladder scanner
Metal detector
AED

EHR: Cerner

Supervisor: Child, adult, geriatric

Hiring Profile:

Must Have Skills/Experience: Previous Psychiatry/Behavioral Health experience.
Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Anxiety, etc.
Personality Fit: Team-oriented, flexible, patient-centered, self-aware, kind.

Required Education: Certification/licensure to work as a Registered Nurse in the state.

Dress Code:

Scrub Color: Navy
Unacceptable Attire: Hoodies, excessive/long jewelry, lanyards.
