We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one nursing support to a student in a school setting near Leesburg, VA. This position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule at a single school site.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-3:30 PM Hours: 40 hours/week School Assignment: 1 school site

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to a student throughout the school day
• Ride the school bus with the student each day and provide nursing support during transportation
• Monitor for seizure activity and recognize changes in the student's condition
• Provide seizure first aid as needed
• Administer nasal rescue medication according to the student's care plan
• Communicate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as appropriate
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care and interventions
• Follow all school and student-specific health and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Current Virginia LPN license
• School nursing or pediatric experience preferred
• Experience with seizure monitoring and seizure first aid
• Comfortable administering nasal rescue medication
• Strong communication and clinical judgment skills
• Comfortable providing care during school bus transportation
