Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients throughout assigned shifts.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and manage individualized patient care plans.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work 1–2 of 3 designated summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) as required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required.
• Active Iowa RN state license required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required.
• Must not have been employed by the facility within the last 12 months.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system preferred.
• Heparin drip experience preferred.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
