Our network of high-standard professionals provides exceptional care to our patients throughout Connecticut!Currently, we are looking for a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our family. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic and be a team player. Recent graduates are welcomed!Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, application of fluoride and sealantsDetect disease by completing oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining gums, using probes to locate periodontal disease and to assess levels of recessionSelection of materials and equipment for dental hygiene visit by evaluating patient's oral healthEducate patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructionsDocument dental hygiene services by recording vital signs, medical and dental histories, and charting in patient chartsSterilization of equipmentTake x-rays as necessary and as recommended by the ADABenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insurancePaid time offRetirement planRequirements:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelinesPossess a professional and positive attitudeAssociate's degree from an accredited dental hygiene programValid license to practice in Connecticut (Registered Dental Hygienist, RDH)Available to work within current office hours, specific shifts to be determined:Wednesday - 9AM-6PMThursday - 9AM-6PMFriday - 9AM-4PMPreferred Qualities:Dental office experienceDentrix Ascend software experience
