Communications Specialist

Full-Time Communications Specialist – Charlotte, NC Make Every Message Count. Clear communication helps teams stay aligned, customers stay informed, and projects move forward. We’re looking for a Communications Specialist in Charlotte, NC to help coordinate business communications, prepare engaging content, and ensure information reaches the right people at the right time. You’ll work with different teams to organize messaging, prepare written materials, support communication initiatives, and keep information accurate and consistent. This role would suit someone who enjoys writing, pays attention to detail, and knows how to adapt their communication style for different audiences. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and update internal and external communications. Draft emails, announcements, newsletters, presentations, and other business materials. Coordinate communication schedules and help ensure deadlines are met. Gather information from different departments to prepare clear and accurate updates. Maintain consistent messaging and follow established brand and communication guidelines. Assist with company announcements, promotional campaigns, and communication projects. Update website content, digital materials, and internal communication channels where required. Help manage incoming communication requests and coordinate appropriate responses. Organize communication records, contact lists, documents, and digital files. Proofread written materials for clarity, accuracy, tone, and consistency. Support meetings, events, and other initiatives that require communication planning. Track communication activities and assist with preparing progress reports. Coordinate with marketing, administrative, and operational teams on shared projects. Identify opportunities to improve communication processes and information flow. Skills and Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail, spelling, grammar, and presentation. Ability to organize information and communicate it clearly. Comfortable using email, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software. Good time management and the ability to handle multiple priorities. Professional approach when communicating with colleagues and external contacts. Ability to work independently while collaborating with different teams. Willingness to learn internal communication processes and business requirements. Previous experience in communications, marketing, public relations, administration, customer service, or content creation is beneficial. Familiarity with social media, newsletters, website content, or communication platforms is an advantage.
