Department of Medicine Medical Specialties RN Traveler needed for 10/19 or 11/2 start. 7am-5:30pm or 8am-4:30pm

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent (within 12 months) clinical providing in-person triage and direct patient care for acute and chronic conditions as appropriate for an ambulatory outpatient setting required. Experience only in an ambulatory procedural or emergency room area not sufficient. Experience with telephone triage and telephone-based clinical assessment techniques required. Experience providing in-person triage and direct patient care for acute and chronic conditions as appropriate for General and/or GI surgical patient experience strongly preferred.

The qualification for Endocrine: Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent (within 12 months) clinical providing in-person triage and direct patient care for acute and chronic conditions as appropriate for an ambulatory outpatient setting required. Experience only in an ambulatory procedural or emergency room area not sufficient. Experience with telephone triage and telephone-based clinical assessment techniques required. Experience providing nursing visits in ambulatory endocrinology, diabetes, or medical specialty practice strongly preferred. Experience administering injectable medications and providing medication-teaching visits strongly preferred. Experience with CGM placement and education, insulin therapy management, and self-management education strongly preferred.
