Location: North Hollywood, CA (Greater Los Angeles / LA County)

Salary Range: $115,000 to $145,000 annually

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, regular business hours

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Plan upcoming work with the superintendent, aligning crews, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and suppliers through three-week and 90-day look-ahead schedules.
• Move technical questions and required reviews forward by preparing clear RFIs, coordinating submittals, and following through on responses.
• Track production quantities, operating costs, and material costs, applying the measurement and payment terms of unit-price and lump-sum contracts.
• Coordinate subcontractor schedules, monitor progress, and manage payment tracking so the project team has a reliable view of the work.
• Keep project changes properly documented, supporting change orders, requests for additional compensation, and time extensions within contract requirements.
• Maintain accurate as-built drawings that reflect field changes and completed construction.
• Support safe execution by maintaining compliance with company safety requirements and OSHA standards.
• Work through daily issues with clear communication and sound priorities, keeping immediate decisions connected to the overall project plan.

To Be Successful in This Role, You'll Bring:

• 5 to 10 years of public works construction experience covering both field operations and office-based project responsibilities.
• A degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or construction management, or relevant work experience in place of a degree.
• Required Excel proficiency, including navigating spreadsheets and maintaining dependable project tracking tools.
• Practical understanding of bid-build unit-price and lump-sum work, including quantity measurement, payment requirements, and contract procedures for changes.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to listen carefully, gain cooperation, and keep conversations focused on workable solutions.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing and readiness for onsite and field-based work.
• An organized, hands-on working style that balances daily problems, multiple priorities, and the broader construction plan.
• Preferred: Greater Los Angeles County project experience. Water or wastewater construction experience is strongly welcomed, not required.
