Industrial Pipefitter Helper

Position Pipefitter Helper – Industrial Refrigeration Responsibilities Assist with layout, fabrication, assembly, installation, maintenance and repairs of piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for ammonia, steam, hot water, heating, cooling, and industrial processing systems. Load and unload construction materials from trucks and into buildings. Provide materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to experienced craft workers. Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and devices during installation. Perform minor maintenance or cleaning of tools and equipment. Work safely, encourage others to do so, and comply with applicable health and safety rules, regulations, and procedures. Travel majority of the year to service customers in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. Qualifications 1–2 years of commercial/industrial plumbing or pipefitting experience (preferred but not required). Knowledge of piping systems and basic construction/shop math (addition, subtraction, division, fraction, multiplication). Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy. Skilled manual dexterity and ability to work easily and skillfully with hands. Positive attitude, team orientation, and effective communication skills with co‑workers and other tradesmen.
