HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Wichita, Kansas.

Job Description & Requirements

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 1-year current acute care OR RN hospital experience
• BLS & ACLS

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Experience working with DaVinci Robotics
• Ortho, neurology and vascular experience is highly preferred
• Prior Meditech experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):   

• Orthopedics, GYN, Urology and Cardiothoracic.
• Vascular, Plastics, Spine, Neuro and Trauma.

Best personality Fit:

• Patient care experience is a priority
• Communication with staff and providers 

Unit Guidelines/Policies : 

• On call consists of 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month. 
• 30-minute response time.

About the unit: Number of Beds - 28 Type of staff: 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) Patient Ratios – 1:1 Type of equipment – TAVR, MAKO, DaVinci EMR – Meditech / CPN • 36 guaranteed hours a week and RTO upon request • Potential Overtime hours • 13 week contract, book directly with facility • Potential to extend contract with facility • Potential hourly incentives for specific specialties • 401k & Discounted stock purchase options
