Perform inspections of return products. Requires interaction with engineering, sales, production, and external customers. May require travel to customer sites.**Essential Responsibilities*** Make dimensional and mechanical inspection and test of Gear Reducers, subassemblies, components and units to ensure conformance with quality and engineering specifications.* Check parts using specific inspection procedures, direct reading instruments and test sets where allowable variations and limits are prescribed.* Inspect returns to determine root cause of problems. Interact with all departments and end customers to do so.* Offer training to all employees to improve quality and set processes.* Determine reasons for defects.
