Job Summary As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you help patients under a nurse or manager's supervision. Your duties support patient care and well-being. Essential Functions Of The Role Maintain the safety and comfort of patients, including aiding with mobility and transfers. Assist in enforcing patient cleanliness and help with personal hygiene according to procedures. Aide with proper dietary intake, document consumed meals, and track calorie consumption. Respond promptly to patient call lights and maintain safety measures at all times. Administer treatments and record crucial patient signs within the scope of your role. Maintain unit equipment, keep bedside stations tidy, monitor supplies, and assist with paperwork. Key Success Factors Completion of a training program specific to nursing assistance with a skills checklist. Familiarity with medical terminologies. Commendable approach towards patients: friendly, reassuring, approachable. Accurate follow‑up of directions from medical professionals and understanding of patient charts and records. Outstanding attention to detail. Qualifications Education: H.S. Diploma or GED Equivalent. Experience: Less than 1 year. Certification/License/Registration: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
