Your day to day as a Traffic Control LeadAs a Traffic Control Lead at Maxsim Traffic Logistics, each day will involve overseeing the implementation of proper flagging methodology and operations with STOP/Slow paddle and hand signals to ensure safety on site. You will coordinate traffic control methods, guiding team members in reading traffic control plans of experience effectively. Expect to lead daily briefings, setting clear objectives for your team and ensuring everyone is aligned on safety protocols.
Your schedule will typically run Monday through Friday, with occasional nights and weekends required to meet project demands. Additionally, you'll be responsible for training new flaggers, emphasizing the importance of reliable transportation, maintaining a clean driving record, and ensuring that everyone has the ability to lift and carry equipment needed to perform the job and stand for long periods of time. Adaptability and high performance will be crucial in this fast-paced environment.
