RN - Endoscopy

Endoscopy RN

This is a 13-week contract position. Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break.

The Endoscopy RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of endoscopy-related skills including pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative care for various procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer care during endoscopy procedures including EGD and colonoscopy.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac conditions.
• Participate in endoscopic ultrasounds and bronchoscopies as needed.
• Ensure a safe and effective pre, intra, and post-operative experience.
• Utilize Epic for patient charting and records management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have endoscopy experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Knowledge of vital signs and cardiac monitoring.
• Experience with Epic electronic charting system preferred.
