Security Officer - Second Shift

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Evansville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.39 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Thur: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Fri: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Sat: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Sun: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing, production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting entries, incidents, and observations through required reporting tools. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication protocols. Support a professional, orderly workplace by maintaining a visible presence and communicating respectfully with personnel across the location. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
