About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Franklin, Ohio, 45005!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required. License: Must obtain required license before contract begins. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must be able to pass an online EKG Tele competency assessment prior to starting assignment. Description: Progressive Care Unit positions available. Candidates do not need a license in hand to apply. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS AN ONLINE EKG TELE COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT PRIOR TO STARTING ASSIGNMENT. Shifts available include 3x12 or 4x12. Experience with EPIC charting system required. The traveler will be the first to float at the discretion of the organization. Agency will float in and out of specialty clusters. Travelers will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including high-risk respiratory unit and COVID care. Availability to work every other weekend and holiday is required. Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives. Cancellation of shifts due to low census may occur. The organization reserves the right to cancel the agreement with two weeks' notice without fee or fine. Patient ratios are 5 patients per nurse during days and nights. Interdisciplinary support available. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Special procedures include chest tube management, BiPAP/CPAP therapy, and others. Daily patient diagnoses will vary, including respiratory failure, postoperative care, and telemetry monitoring. Candidates must complete lab work and an EKG/Dysrhythmia exam within the specified timeframe after signing the contract. References are not required. Any state RN license is acceptable to apply. Temporary licenses may be applied for upon offer acceptance. No past license actions will be accepted. Module hours may be billable and to be completed during orientation and annually.
