Complete Care at Silver Lake is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team at our 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Dover, Delaware. This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic nursing leader who is committed to delivering exceptional resident care, mentoring clinical teams, and driving quality outcomes in a collaborative environment. The facility is a 3-Star CMS-rated skilled nursing center providing short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and specialized clinical services.

As Director of Nursing, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational success.

Responsibilities for Director of Nursing (DON):

Provide leadership and oversight of all nursing services within the facility
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
Drive quality measures, survey readiness, and performance improvement initiatives
Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain nursing staff
Promote a positive culture focused on resident outcomes and employee engagement
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional resident care
Manage staffing, budgets, clinical programs, and operational goals
Monitor infection prevention, risk management, and clinical compliance initiatives

Qualifications for Director of Nursing (DON):

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Delaware
Previous experience as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting required
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey process, and quality measures
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Passion for delivering outstanding resident-centered care
