About Fitness Exchange

Fitness Exchange is an established fitness equipment retailer specializing in quality home and commercial exercise equipment. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and mechanically inclined individual to join our team at our Conshohocken location.

This is a hands-on position that combines warehouse operations with fitness equipment assembly, delivery, installation, and repair. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming fitness equipment and merchandise.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and inventory accuracy.
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed.

Equipment Delivery & Installation

• Assist with delivering fitness equipment to residential and commercial customers.
• Assemble and install treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes, strength equipment, and other fitness products.
• Safely move and position heavy equipment in customers' homes and businesses.
• Ensure equipment is properly assembled, tested, and functioning before completing installations.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.

Equipment Service & Repair

• Assist with diagnosing, servicing, and repairing fitness equipment.
• Perform basic mechanical adjustments, equipment maintenance, and parts replacements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with appropriate training.
• Assist experienced technicians with service calls and repairs.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, delivery, assembly, mechanical, or related experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand and power tools.
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy equipment with appropriate assistance and equipment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with fitness equipment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
