I'm a proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and Ive spent the past 17 years building a career around helping people protect what matters most. Before opening my agency, I worked as a team member for another State Farm agent, which gave me the foundation to create a successful business centered on exceptional customer service and strong relationships. Our office is friendly, laid-back, and collaborative a place where we work hard, celebrate wins, and always keep our focus on delivering top-tier service. My team has been with me for many years, and that longevity speaks to the supportive, team-oriented culture weve built. Currently, we are a close-knit group of three, and were excited to grow with new team members who share our passion for helping others. Deatria Walker - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. If you thrive in a supportive role and are eager to learn and grow within the insurance industry, we invite you to apply and become a valued member of our team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
