Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is an entry-level position in Marketing at Midwest Fastener Corp. The Marketing Coordinator will support and own critical processes, learning and supporting all marketing functions. The coordinator will build their knowledge of all products, categories, and retailer network for Midwest, working towards mastery of all job functions. Career progression upon mastery of product lines and processes within the department would be available.

Responsibilities

• Learn and master Midwest products, assortments, and display programs
• Primary front-line support for all sales rep inquiries
• Support annual promotion efforts -- creating, printing, posting electronically
• Create and maintain sale fliers - with external designers, posting electronically as well printing when necessary
• Support trade show booth development
• Review and proof new packaging prior to release
• Support photography needs of all new items, as well as existing products
• Create and maintain marketing monthly reports - Excel and Power BI
• Conduct frequent competitive research online and in-store, sharing with marketing team and sales
• Become familiar with the internal BATCH system, support owner within marketing of the initiative
• M&M meeting support and follow-ups
• Manage and support the label translation initiative
• Some travel may be required (10-20%)
• Other duties as assigned my marketing leadership and marketing VP

Qualifications

• 4-year degree required and/or 3-5 years marketing or relevant field experience
• Degree may be in process with relevant experience
• Self-starter, developmental role for next step in marketing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Midwest computer programs
• Photoshop experience a strong plus

Where: Kalamazoo Location

Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm
