Full-time Physician, Allergist (Denver) Department: Allergist Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Denver, CO Reporting To: Medical Director Description The Physician, Allergist is a vital part of our clinical staff in our mission to cure patients who suffer from allergy and sinus problems. They will deliver a memorable experience for our patients, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction are top of mind. They will practice precision everywhere, including providing allergy testing and treatment to patients 2 years old and above. They will share responsibility with peers and the rest of the clinical team to ensure the clinic runs smoothly. They will exemplify integrity in everything they do, always doing what is best for our team and our patients. Food Allergy Testing & Oral Immunotherapy Utilization of Diagnostic Tests Mid-level Provider Oversite Chronic Sinusitis Collaboration (ENT’s) Intralymphatic Procedure (EXACT Immunoplasty) Comprehensive Care for Patients Clinic Schedule & Locations Clinic schedule and location details will be determined later. Typical operating hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Clinics are closed on evenings and weekends. What You’ll Be Doing Oversee and manage both food and environmental allergy testing for patients by utilizing Percutaneous Allergy Skin Testing and Intracutaneous Allergy Testing. Deliver quality care to patients during assessment, physical exam, and treatment options. Diagnose or treat allergic or immunologic conditions. Administer Oral Immunotherapy Treatment. Order or perform diagnostic tests, such as skin pricks, intradermal, Patch or others as needed. Administer SCIT injections. Intake and assess new patients. Request necessary history and treatment plans from outside providers when indicated. Create a plan of care/treatment plan for new patients. Direct patient care including medical assessments and follow-ups. Set an example of compassionate and knowledgeable medical care. Stay abreast of developments in Allergy/Immunology and regularly communicate relevant information to other providers in the center. Oversee mid-level providers in practice. Participate in meetings as appropriate and/or as requested by the medical director. Manage an appropriate caseload including paperwork; charting to be completed within 48 hours of the patient visit. Work collaboratively with team members to diagnose, manage and evolve patient care. Travel to assigned sites. Provide mentorship to clinical staff. Develop relationships with referring medical providers and the local medical community. Attend lunches and events with the assigned territory provider relationship rep. to help garner credibility and market Aspire. Adhere to standard metrics with respect to testing, treatment and IOP conversions. Other duties as assigned. Who You Are Effectively communicate with patients and clinical staff. Required Education and Experience MD/DO with a minimum of two years of experience in Allergy. Experience in food allergy, including food challenges. Must be licensed in the state of the assigned clinic location as an MD or DO. Be board certified (BE/BC) in Allergy/Immunology. Must have a valid driver’s license.
