Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Title Quality Assurance Engineer Reporting To Manager, QA Engrg. Work Schedule Onsite – Buffalo, NY, East Aurora, NY location (first shift) Responsibilities Plan and execute cost‑effective quality processes to meet or exceed contractual quality requirements and provide the required level of protection to Moog and its customers. Drive quality success on program teams in meeting contractual requirements and making crucial quality‑related decisions for customers. Collaborate with global partners to gather insights, resolve challenges, meet program requirements, and maintain consistent, transparent communication with customers. Improve production by conducting QE studies, recommending design changes, and providing quality support to manufacturing personnel. Facilitate cross‑functional teams through problem‑solving activities, including failure analysis, root‑cause and corrective‑action analysis, risk mitigation, material review, customer & government interface, audit support, configuration control, and traceability. Develop quality plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing operations, assembly & test processes, and final inspection. Work directly with customers and suppliers to identify root cause and corrective actions on complex issues. Reduce inspection costs and prevent failure‑related expenses through statistical analysis and problem‑solving. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering in a manufacturing environment (preferred). Self‑motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Proficiency with problem‑solving tools and documentation. Ability to work onsite in East Aurora, NY (remote candidates not considered).
