FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Duties

You will assist in the performance of functions such as formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities; review and evaluate budget requests, control and reporting of obligations and expenditures.

You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepares summaries for use by higher-graded analysts.

You will prepare preliminary budget estimates, financial reviews, etc. for a few relatively stable programs or program support activities.

You will, under the guidance of higher-graded analysts or supervisor, perform managerial or administrative work related to accounting systems.

You will, under the guidance of higher-graded analysts or supervisor, perform work related to analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions associated with the management and control of resources or funds.

You will, under the guidance of higher-graded analysts or supervisor, perform work related to tracking and control of funds for special programs.

You will, under the guidance of higher-graded analysts or supervisor, perform work related to analytical or program work pertaining to payroll, cash control, or benefit systems.
