Future Opening: Residential Treatment Center Part Time M-Tue Overnight Security Guard Full Time • Los Angeles - Mid Wilshire We are seeking a reliable, observant, and compassionate Security Guard to help maintain a safe environment for clients and staff at our Residential Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment facility in Los Angeles. As part of our operations team, the Security Guard plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the facility while maintaining a trauma-informed, respectful, and non-confrontational presence. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to maintain facility safety Limit access only to clients, staff and approved visitors Observe the property for anything unusual and document it accordingly Conduct routine perimeter checks and log incidents as needed De‑escalate conflict or behavioral issues using non‑violent techniques Observe and report any suspicious or unsafe activity Support staff in managing visitor access and deliveries Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow facility protocols Ensure confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1 year of security experience, preferably in a behavioral health, medical, or SUD setting Strong communication and conflict‑resolution skills Ability to remain calm and composed in high‑stress situations Familiarity with trauma‑informed care principles a plus CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer Competitive hourly pay (DOE) Paid training and professional development Supportive and mission‑driven team environment Opportunity to make a difference in the recovery journey of others #J-18808-Ljbffr Recovery Dynamics Llc
