Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health

Location:- Grand Rapids, MI

Shifts:- Full-Time (Varied Shifts – Days, Evenings, Nights)

Pay:- $28.90 – $41.00/hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus:- $8,000 – $12,000

Shift Differentials:

• Evenings: +$2.00 to $3.00/hr
• Nights: +$4.00 to $5.00/hr
• Weekends: +$1.25/hr and up

Job Summary

Seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality behavioral health care in an inpatient setting. This role involves working with diverse patient populations including youth, adults, and older adults in a structured, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Provide and coordinate psychiatric nursing care
• Monitor patient safety and report changes in condition
• Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge plans
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Support a safe, therapeutic environment

Requirements

• Active RN license (Michigan)
• ADN or BSN (BSN preferred)
• Behavioral health, psych, or acute care experience preferred
• New grads may be considered
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Available Units/Shifts

• Youth, Adult, and Older Adult populations
• Day, Evening, and Night shift options (32–36 hours/week)
