LabX Diagnostics Systems

Medical TechnologistThe Medical Technologist is responsible for performing and analyzing the results of the complex scientific tests.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Analyzer MaintenancePreparing and running calibrations and QCs on analyzersMonitoring quality control measures and protocolsRunning patient samples (serum, whole blood, urine)Reviewing and reporting of resultsMaintaining laboratory logsOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Qualifications, Knowledge and CompetenciesQualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Science, Certification by ASCP, AMT, or AAB, Medical Technologist License (or Medical Laboratory Technician) in State of Florida and laboratory experience.Knowledge: Beckman AU700, Beckman DxH560, Beckman Access 2Competencies: Technical Capacity, Decision Making, Problem Solving/Analysis, Results Driven, PipettingPosition Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a part-time position with potential to turn into full-time as we grow. Days of work are: Saturday from 9:00 am-5:30pm and one day during the week (Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday)
