Join Allied Universal as an armed officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, with working conditions that may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing visitor activity, and following post orders for restricted or sensitive areas.
- Support security-related operations around high-value areas such as teller lines, ATM areas, and cash handling spaces, while maintaining a professional presence and following all applicable armed post procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License.
- Possess a Corrections Officer License.
- Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
