Assessment Counselor

Delaware Opportunities, Inc. is seeking a full-time Victims Counselor / Advocate to provide trauma‑informed services to victims of crime, domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse, including medical and legal advocacy. This role involves advocacy, accompaniment, education, and referrals, with a focus on empowering clients and supporting their safety and well‑being. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, gender studies, or a related field and/or Four years of experience in human services or social work Valid driver’s license Personal vehicle required Ability to work independently with professionalism and integrity Experience with outreach education and public speaking preferred Responsibilities Provide trauma‑informed advocacy services to victims of crime Offer medical and legal advocacy, accompaniment, and support Provide information and referrals to appropriate community services Assist clients in navigating systems and accessing needed resources Participate in outreach education and public speaking as needed Maintain accurate and confidential documentation Follow program guidelines and agency policies Perform related duties as assigned Schedule & Pay Full‑time position 35 hours per week Pay range: $23.39 – $27.90 per hour To Apply Please submit your application, cover letter, and resume to View email address on click.appcast.io.
