QC Microbiology Sr. QC Technician

Senior Quality Control Technician role performing microbial testing and analytical method validation for biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Responsible for in-process and release testing, documentation, and GMP compliance in a cleanroom laboratory environment working 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct microbial testing including in-process and release testing for biopharmaceuticals
• Perform analytical method transfer, qualification, and validation for viral vector cGMP manufacturing
• Execute routine laboratory testing, equipment setup, and documentation
• Train staff and ensure adherence to GMP compliance practices
• Perform environmental monitoring and support laboratory operational preparedness

Requirements

• High school diploma with 1-2 years GMP experience, or bachelor's degree in microbiology or biology
• 0-2 years experience in cGMP pharmaceutical or regulated environment
• Microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and aseptic technique expertise
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations, documentation practices, and quality standards
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and laboratory information systems
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work extended periods in cleanroom with required PPE

Compensation: $22.60–$33.91 hourly
