Operations Specialist

Job Duties
Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following:
- Provides high-level operational and programmatic support to shift operations and assists in ensuring continuous 24/7 mission coverage.
- Assists in reviewing the performance of operations center functions, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending adjustments to optimize situational awareness, incident tracking, and coordination workflows.
- Acts as a senior liaison during routine and emergency operations with PFPA directorates, dispatch and response units, and external agencies to ensure seamless coordination of actions and resource deployment during high-visibility events, exercises, or planned operational activities.
- Leads efforts to support strategic coordination with external entities, including federal, state, and local stakeholders such as the FBI, U.S. Secret Service, Arlington County, and other mission partners.
