NSC Staffing is now hiring an Apprentice Carpenter for a long-term project in Charleston, SC.
The Apprentice Carpenter will assist in all aspects of commercial carpentry and construction work, supporting journeymen and foremen on-site. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent hours and room for growth.
PAY: $23–$25/hr (depending on experience)
SCHEDULE: 40+ hrs/ week (Temp-to-Perm)

JOB DETAILS:
- 1+ year of commercial construction or carpentry experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
- Assist in constructing, installing, and repairing wood and metal framing, doors, windows, drywall, and other structural components
- Support journeymen and foremen with layout, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all jobsite safety procedures
- Safely operate basic hand and power tools
- Learn to read and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications under supervision
- Must have own vehicle
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Must have basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, work boots, gloves)
