TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Pediatrics RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28203!

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Pediatrics Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatric Nephrology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years of Pediatric experience, ambulatory clinic experience preferred License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: EPIC experience, port access, CVL draws, general assessment skills Description: Registered Nurse for Pediatric Nephrology clinic. The clinic features multiple specialty areas and numerous exam rooms. Travelers will work in a specialty area based on the job posting. Specific focus will be on Pediatric Nephrology cases. Patient types include newborns to age 18, and young adults up to college graduation. The clinic manages pre/post kidney transplant care, chronic kidney disease, adrenal diseases, and dialysis follow-ups. Support staff includes front desk attendants, nurse managers, and clinical supervisors. Clinical team may receive assistance from medical assistants for rooming and point-of-care testing. The EMR system in use is EPIC. Nurse will perform required procedures, including testing and patient education following visits. There is no weekend rotation or call requirements. Holidays are observed as the clinic is closed on major holidays. Nurses will assist with vaccine administration if trained. Orientation will focus on skills optimization and department introductions.
