Position Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services. In this specialized position, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide advanced imaging solutions, including CT scans, X-rays, ultrasound, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of top-tier diagnostic imaging while assisting Radiologists with complex procedures that require CT guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute Imaging Procedures: Perform precise CT and X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Patient Interaction: Explain procedures to patients, ensuring they understand and are comfortable throughout the process.
• Accurate Positioning: Position patients correctly to obtain the necessary images.
• Contrast Administration: Administer IV contrast dyes to enhance imaging clarity.
• Image Analysis: Examine and verify the quality of images to ensure they meet diagnostic standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot CT scan equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage the inventory of CT scan supplies, making orders as needed.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (required).
• Licensure / Certification:
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification (required).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
  • Texas Department of State Health certification (required).
• Experience:
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
