URM Stores, Inc. is looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Mechanic to join our facilities team based in Spokane, WA. The ideal candidate must have extensive mechanical skills to perform a variety of tasks related to commercial and industrial building maintenance/repair and upkeep.

This positions shift will be a Graveyard schedule as follows:

1) Sunday - Thursday 11pm to 7:30 am

Your Day-to-Day:

• Maintaining and repairing electrical equipment.
• Maintaining and repairing building assets including dock plates, doors, wrappers, and racking.
• Maintaining and repairing commercial and domestic refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners.
• Locating and repairing defects in electrical control systems and equipment.
• Reading schematic control diagrams, blueprints and working from sketches.
• Operate, maintain, and repair gas & electric heating and cooling systems
• Perform overall maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds and equipment.
• Maintain Refrigeration, HVAC and boilers.
• Perform scheduled and timely preventive maintenance.
• Maintain a clean safe work environment
• Perform timely and accurate trouble shooting
• Experience with computer related maintenance program.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 4+ years of Commercial and Industrial Maintenance experience preferred.
• Proven experience/knowledge carpentry, welding, minor electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Knowledge in warehouse maintenance including dock plate systems, doors, racking, etc.
• Computer use with and maintenance software and systems controls.
• Valid Drivers License.

• Our full-scale wage is $37.46 per hour, our starting wage is determined by verifiable experience and certifications as shown in the examples below:
  • 0-5 months experience - $30.72 per hour
  • 6 months experience - $31.84 per hour
  • 12 months experience - $33.34 per hour
  • 18 months experience - $35.96 per hour
  • 24 months or more experience - $37.46 per hour (full scale)
