Candidate with Supervision/Leadership experience required with a broad background in military field service support, and a proven track record of dealing directly with customers. The FSR Manager position requires management of 27+ employees worldwide including international assignments, to include coordinating staffing requirements to support unit deployments, field exercises, training, unit readiness, setting schedules, work priorities, generating metrics, staff certifications, and resolving conflicts real-time which might impact performance and therefore, our customer. The FSR Manager is responsible to ensure the submittal of the monthly activity report, offsite CDRL requirements, and the processing of the Emergency Action Plan to deploy FSR’s IAW government, functional, and corporate security guidelines. The FSR Manager is responsible for coordinating the contractor content and participation of the Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and Launcher reviews with the Government. Strong technical background in field support/depot operations skills required to be able to identify and implement new and existing field service support strategies to increase performance to our customers. Travel to other sites to meet military staff as well as LM employees will be required. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project staff according to requirements. Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.Basic QualificationsSecret security clearance.Experience with repair concepts; maintenance tasks for field repairable items and depot repairable items.Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership characteristics.Relevant experience leading multi discipline people and teams in a dynamic and challenging environment.Strong interpersonal, communication and networking ability able to generate innovative solutions through process improvement and change management events.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the demonstrated ability to communicate to all levels of management and customer organization.Typical Minimums Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.Desired SkillsBusiness Development knowledge.Ability to develop and maintain required relationships with customers, and the ability to work with technical staff and Business Development to ensure successful resultsReact quickly under pressure, dealing with a broad customer and Lockheed Martin base.Experience in the development of Performance Work Statements and schedule integrationMust have a strong technical background and understanding of Army Maintenance activities.Handle performance reviews, hiring, disciplinary actions, and other personnel related activities.Work under long range goals and objectives.
