Senior Accountant

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join a growing organization. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who has a solid foundation in accounting principles, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and can quickly become a trusted contributor with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the monthly close process
• Perform account and cash reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
• Support month-end and year-end financial reporting activities
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests
• Support accounts receivable and other general accounting functions as nee
• Participate in accounting process improvements and system enhancement initiatives
• Assist with special projects and other finance-related responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• 5+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting
• Experience performing bank and cash reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ERP systems; exposure to NetSuite is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple priorities, and work independently
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
