Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Must have a valid nursing license Certifications: ACLS required Must-Have Skills/Experience: Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Ability to work with minimal supervision is essential. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Preferred experience on a medical/surgical unit is advantageous. Description: This position involves providing care for adult and geriatric patients. You will work within a patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1. Equipment used includes telemetry monitors, IV pumps, bladder scanners, and EHR systems. Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in nursing. Scrub color should be galaxy blue, with navy as an acceptable alternative. Fingernails should be clean, not excessive in length, and comply with hand hygiene policies. Tattoos that may be considered offensive to patients must be covered. Excessive jewelry is not permitted.
