Job Description:

As a Salesforce Developer, you'll be comfortable with the development, design, and implement customizable solutions within Salesforce based upon CRM needs for the Michigan Enterprise Contact Center team at the Department of Technology,
Management, and Budget. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Work with colleagues, customers, and end users tdefine technical requirements for new projects and any future enhancements.
• Ensure that the technical requirements tie back tthe established customer requirements and performance goals and that the technical direction is consistent with the client's longterm strategy.
• Take ownership of release cycles timplement and deploy new/updates texisting applications and code.
• Has overall technical responsibility for the technical aspects of the project environments
• Compile internal development guidelines/standards for the development team and ensure the team is following those standards.
• Collaborating with Developers for other systems in order tintegrate across the business.
• Ensures the proposed solutions adhere tSOM security guidelines and standards throughout the application lifecycle.
• Proven record of delivering business value by leveraging technology and an ability tcommunicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level and be a trusted voice at the decisionmaking table.
• Devise a training plan for the development team for a smooth and successful transition tMaintenance & Operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salesforce:

• Strong knowledge and working experience in Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Participation in each phase of full Salesforce.com lifecycle implementations
• Indepth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce
• Strong handson experience in writing Apex programming, Visual force pages,Apex triggers, Aura Components, and lightning web components.
• Knowledge in implementing solutions using configurations(nocode) such as Flows, process builders, and workflow Rules, etc.
• Work with technical managers, architects, and business stakeholders in gathering requirements and driving the team timplement technical solutions.
• Handson experience with integrating Salesforce with cloudbased applications and onpremises applications using standard and custom REST APIs
• Good Experience in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
• Handson experience in implementing various authentication protocols(oAuth) tintegrate 3rd party applications.
• Demonstrates successful implementation of Batch Apex and/or Schedule Apex development.
• Ownership of all EndtoEnd technical aspects of a Salesforce.com program: data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom development
• Define, communicate, and manage technical change management (e.g., release) processes for all Salesforce technology efforts.
• Assess Salesforce.com architecture and provide secure, highperformance technical solutions on the Force.com platform
• Design and document technical architecture solutions that span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across systems
• Support SFDX development, branch management, merging, and code deployment activities using Azure DevOps build CI/CD process.
• Identification of risks and issues from a technical perspective.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated hands on experience with Salesforce, including SFDX and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle
• 6+ years of strong Salesforce development experience
• 4+ years of experience developing within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, HTML5, and JavaScript
• 5+ years of experience working with Service Cloud
• 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce Digital Experience Sites.
• Strong experience in migrating from Classic tLightning.
• Experience in migrating Legacy Visualforce Portals tDigital Experience Sites.
• 5+ years of experience with GoMeddScheduling customization, or equivalent experience with similar scheduling products.
• 5+ years of experience with Conga Composer.
• 3+ years of hands on experience with Salesforce Lightning, including LWC.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
• Salesforce experience cloud certification

Other desired skills/qualifications

• Demonstrated handson experience with Salesforce, including SFDX and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
• Additional experience that is beneficial but not required, including:
  • Familiarity with governmental processes and compliance, including prior experience working with FedRAMPcompliant tools and environments
