Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Geneva, NY. As a critical part of the emergency team, the RN will deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients and their families. The role involves working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the requirement of utilizing a variety of medical procedures and interventions to manage patient care effectively.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ED- Emergency Department

• Connect with patients and families during triage to assign priority of care according to Triage Standards.
• Conduct primary assessments, identify critical needs, and document deviations from the norm for all age groups.
• Build mutual trust and cooperation among the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Prepare patients and families for diagnostic procedures and treatments, and make post-emergency care referrals.
• Maintain communication with patients and significant others throughout their ED visit and update patient communication boards.

Requirements of the RN - ED- Emergency Department

• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (Must be AHA or RQI)
• Two years of acute hospital experience as an RN
• One year of ED hospital experience as an RN
