Staff Accountant

SUMMARY

Alliance Resource Group is Partnered with a global company who is seeking a Staff Accountant to support monthly close activities for the international division. This role works closely with the Senior Accountant on reconciliations, reporting, and compliance across multiple entities. It is a strong fit for someone who wants hands‑on exposure to international accounting in a collaborative finance team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the monthly close process for assigned international entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger tie‑outs Prepare and maintain bank, prepaid, accrued compensation, and balance sheet reconciliations Process asset additions and property rollforwards for assigned divisions Analyze financial statement transactions and provide recommendations that support business decisions Coordinate with internal teams and third‑party contacts on items impacting accounting and reporting, including tax changes, audits, and forecast requirements Assist with audit preparation, PBC list management, and tax filing support Help develop and improve reporting processes and procedures on a proactive basis

QUALIFICATIONS

Required: BS in Accounting or Finance 2+ years of experience in accounting or auditing Solid understanding of GAAP and financial accounting standards Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office Ability to communicate effectively across management levels, disciplines, and international teams Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities #J-18808-Ljbffr Alliance Resource Group
