The typical work schedule is 40 hours per week, with variable weekend hours as needed, fostering a work-life balance in a rewarding care setting.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist at Healthactions Physical Therapy, your key responsibilities will include:Conducting thorough patient evaluations to assess functional limitations and disabilities.Developing customized treatment plans in consultation with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.Delivering direct patient care through evidence-based therapeutic modalities, monitoring progress, and adjusting plans as necessary.Maintaining clear and accurate documentation of patient evaluations and treatment progress in compliance with legal and professional standards.Collaborating with healthcare providers and referring physicians to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care.Participating in community outreach and marketing initiatives to educate the public about our services and promote health awareness.Supervising and mentoring support staff, including physical therapy assistants, aides, and students, ensuring adherence to best practices.Contributing to team meetings and professional development opportunities, enhancing personal and organizational competence.Patient Population / Client FocusThis role primarily focuses on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. You will interact with patients from various age groups and cultural backgrounds, necessitating an empathetic approach and the ability to tailor communication styles to foster strong therapeutic relationships. Providing compassionate care and educational resources to help patients understand their conditions and treatment plans is integral to your success in this role.QualificationsThe successful candidate will fulfill the following qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.Current state licensure in Physical Therapy is mandatory.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective patient interaction and teamwork.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient management systems for documentation and reporting is necessary.Preferred ExperienceWhile a minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting is required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in outpatient rehabilitation and those who possess advanced certifications or specialized skills, such as manual therapy techniques or sports rehabilitation.Compensation and BenefitsHealthactions Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
