Senior Director, Full-stack Engineer (Remote)

Salary: $286,200 - 359,300 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative field, such as statistics, economics, operations research, analytics, mathematics, or engineering.
• At least 7 years of people-management experience.
• At least 9 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud), and data architecture.
• Preferred: Masters degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Preferred: 12+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, web technologies (including JavaScript, TypeScript, and SPA frameworks), distributed HPC and ML systems, cloud computing, and data architecture.
• Preferred: 12+ years of professional coding experience with commonly used languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala.
• Preferred: 10+ years of experience with databases and database management systems, and with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
• Preferred: 12+ years of experience across the full system-development lifecycle, from conception and architecture through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Preferred: 12+ years of experience with networking protocols and integration with third-party distributed systems.
• Preferred: 7+ years mentoring senior engineers and supporting professional development in technical teams.
• Preferred: 3+ years leading cross-domain architecture reviews or establishing coding and design standards.
• Preferred: Expertise applying agentic AI coding tools strategically to address systemic development challenges, with hands-on use of AI-driven tools, frameworks, or modern software-development practices.
• Preferred: Fintech experience, particularly in payment processing, merchant services, or digital payment architecture.
• Preferred: Experience iteratively delivering enterprise software, large-scale data migrations, and platform transformations in fintech or large enterprise organizations.
