How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Provide direct nursing care by floating to different Ascension emergency departments across the Chicagoland area, adapting to diverse environments in accordance with established organizational protocols.
• Implement, monitor, and record patient care plans and conditions, communicating changes to the healthcare team as appropriate.
• Assess and coordinate patient care needs by serving as a central point of contact across all medical disciplines.
• Note and efficiently carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure a well-coordinated continuum of care.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
