Job Title Radiologic Technologist – UPMC‑GoHealth Urgent Care Compensation Hourly Rate : $26.00 - $35.00 (based on experience) Sign‑On Bonus : Up to $10,000 for eligible applicants. Job Description The Radiologic Technologist works with Medical Providers and/or Medical Assistants to perform radiographic examinations and support patient care at UPMC‑GoHealth Urgent Care Centers. Responsibilities Collaborate with medical staff to manage patient care and communication. Apply x‑ray energy for diagnostic imaging across all age groups. Position patients safely and protect them during imaging. Maintain equipment, perform daily controls, and conduct preventive maintenance. Prepare patients for examinations, including vital signs and point‑of‑care testing. Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records. Support clinic operations, including ordering supplies and managing referrals. Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles. Essential Functions Perform and analyze patient x‑rays and report results to Medical Providers. Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of urgent care centers. Collaborate with providers to determine best procedures and views. Maintain quality assurance logs and submit repair tickets as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma required. Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required. Experience in a clinical setting preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at hire. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required. State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required (if applicable). Skills & Knowledge Knowledge of X‑ray procedures, protocols, and safety hazards. Skill in patient positioning and equipment troubleshooting.
