Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a client site in Clemmons, North Carolina, working Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, and providing patient care within a diagnostic laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and similar assays
- Enter patient data accurately and maintain specimen information logs
- Process billing information and collect patient payments as required
- Provide superior customer service and perform administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable transportation; availability for overtime and travel to additional sites
