Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac

Cardiology Registered Nurse

Schedule: Days; 9am 5:30pm

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum of two years of cardiovascular clinic experience and/or hospital nursing experience
• Preferred: Two years of experience in a critical care or cardiac inpatient unit
• Preferred: Two years of telemetry monitoring experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in a team environment to coordinate patient care in the Cardiology Clinic.
• Provide education to patients regarding cardiovascular conditions and treatment options.
• Assist in the pre and post-operative education for cardiology and electrophysiology procedures.
• Triage patients' physical symptoms as needed and consult with cardiologists or electrophysiologists.
• Ensure effective transition of care management and proper understanding of discharge medications.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
