Opportunity You will leverage your extensive Charles River (CRD) expertise to design, implement, and support cutting‑edge investment management solutions. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, you will configure workflows based on client requirements, manage seamless integrations, and ensure a smooth transition to the Charles River (CRD) platform, all while maintaining peak operational efficiency and compliance alignment. Your deep technical knowledge of Charles River (CRD), combined with strategic leadership, will drive multiple high‑impact implementation projects across trading, compliance, portfolio management, and post‑trade functions. As a platform owner and delivery leader, you will partner with senior stakeholders across technology and business teams to ensure Charles River (CRD) solutions are robust, scalable, and perfectly aligned with the firm’s strategic vision. This role blends hands‑on project leadership with the opportunity to shape the long‑term roadmap within a dynamic and rapidly growing investment organization. Your key responsibilities Define overall project plan and lead multiple Charles River (CRD) SaaS implementations and enhancement projects end‑to‑end, from requirements through deployment and stabilization Lead Charles River (CRD) SaaS migration activities including environment readiness, data migration, regression testing and coordinating with infrastructure teams Define the Charles River (CRD) SaaS, CRD NextGen IBOR and Alpha Data Platform (ADP) implementation roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that improve efficiency, data quality and compliance Drive and oversee Charles River (CRD) SaaS platform configuration, compliance rule setup, workflows, and integration points across modules Document Charles River Client provided use‑cases into a use‑case catalogue Review asset class workflows provided by Charles River Client to support organization of asset class prioritization plans within the Project Plan Assist Charles River Client with creating/maintaining project key issue tracker to log & triage issues, liaising with Charles River implementation and support teams to coordinate and drive for issue resolution Assist Client and Charles River vendor with Governance reports (including status meeting updates, upcoming period deliverables, past due project items, percent task completion, and identifying responsible parties) Project Closure Report including Charles River Client sign‐offs of the deliverables at the end of the project Manage a team of business analysts, technical/configuration analysts, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and professional development opportunities Lead cross‑functional communication between front, middle and back‑office teams, translating complex technical topics into clear business language Promote best practices in system configuration, change management and delivery methodology ensuring consistent project execution across teams Stay current on Charles River (CRD) SaaS product enhancements, new modules and industry trends to proactively identify opportunities for system improvement and automation Skills and attributes for success Collaborate with client technology professionals and strategic third‑party alliances to deliver cutting‑edge technology solutions. Drive engagement management, execute projects seamlessly, and build strong client relationships while ensuring top‑notch reporting and management. To qualify for the role you must have A bachelor's degree and approximately 12+ years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 10 years of related work experience Your degree should be in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field; MBA or MS degree preferred A minimum of 7+ years of experience working at a financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company Experience working in a Hedge Fund, Wealth/Asset Management company or as a Management Consultant in one of these companies 6+ years of hands‑on Charles River (CRD) experience Demonstrated experience leading and supporting Charles River (CRD) SaaS implementations/migrations Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team of technology advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture, design, development, implementation, conversion, and testing Strong communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills Comfortable researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies Strong experience in supervising and executing all phases of the technology life cycle, based on proven project management and testing methodologies Must possess a deep knowledge of technical architecture design and have a good understanding of technology tools and components to reasonably argue for and against all components (middleware, database, reporting tools, etc.) in financial systems architecture Willingness and ability to travel, you must hold a passport and a valid drivers license Experience in the following areas Charles River (CRD) SaaS Charles River – Alpha Data Platform (ADP) Charles River – NextGen IBOR Snowflake Business intelligence tools e.g. Power BI, Tableau and SQL Definition and design of business and technical requirements System design, selection and implementation support Data mapping and conversion Proof of concept Quality assurance and testing Business and IT process reengineering Program/project management and implementation planning (PMO) Management reporting enhancement Enterprise application integration Package Implementation Reconciliation redesign or improvement What we look for We’re interested in leaders with a genuine creative vision and the confidence to make it happen. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $168,400 to $384,600. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $202,000 to $437,100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
