Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on Restaurant & Banquet Operations Associate to support the daily operations of Stratigos Banquet Centre and our upcoming restaurant.

This is a varied position that combines office administration, customer service, restaurant floor support, and banquet event assistance. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is comfortable transitioning between office responsibilities and hands-on duties wherever needed.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, works well with others, and understands that teamwork and flexibility are essential to keeping our businesses running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Office Administration & Customer Service

• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and assist with customer inquiries.
• Help manage reservations, event bookings, scheduling, and administrative paperwork.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, employees, and management.
• Assist with organizing event details, customer information, and daily business operations.
• Perform general office duties and help keep records organized.

Restaurant & Banquet Operations

• Assist with daily restaurant operations and provide floor support when needed.
• Help with weddings, banquets, private parties, and special events.
• Assist with event setup, room preparation, breakdown, and maintaining clean, organized spaces.
• Support servers and other team members to ensure excellent guest service.
• Help monitor supplies, restock items, and maintain an organized work environment.
• Step into different roles as needed to support the team during busy periods.

Teamwork & General Responsibilities

• Work at both Stratigos Banquet Centre and our restaurant as business needs require.
• Assist management with special projects and operational tasks.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
• Follow company procedures and applicable food safety and workplace safety requirements.
• Be willing to learn new responsibilities and adapt to changing daily priorities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to perform both office-based and hands-on hospitality duties.
• Ability to work at both business locations as scheduled.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Previous restaurant, banquet, hospitality, office administration, or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with email and office applications preferred.
• Reliable transportation between locations.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift supplies, and assist with event setup when required.
